Marcus Jordan was a high level recruit coming out of high school, as he had just won the Illinois 4A State Championship in basketball with Whitney Young Magnet High School. Of course, it helped that he was the talented offspring of the greatest basketball player to have ever lived—Michael Jordan. Marcus Jordan attended the University of Central Florida, choosing them over a number of other offers. He played three seasons and put up solid numbers every year. In his junior year, his final year playing, he averaged 13.7 points per game. He helped the University of Central Florida to some of its most impressive wins in program history, including wins over Florida and Memphis.
